Ima Abdulrahim

Ima is Co Founder & Co Director of CaravanSerai Collective, an organization that designs and runs programs that focus on social cohesion and anti-polarization. Based in Singapore, she was the Director of Public Policy for South East Asia for Facebook/Meta from 2019 to 2023. She joined Facebook after working at the Jakarta-based Think tank, the Habibie Center for 19 years and leading it as Executive Director for 9 years. Throughout her career, she has been a tireless advocate for peace and democracy in Indonesia and the region, and carries over 20 years experience working to promote democracy and human rights. She is determinedly active in the network of civil society organizations, nationally, regionally, and globally.
