Recyglo is the first ever innovative recycling service solution in Myanmar. At RecyGlo, we’re committed to providing environmentally friendly recycling solutions to Myanmar, and Malaysia. Founded in 2017, our mission is to process recyclable materials in a safe, non-hazardous manner – with an aim to keep the world environmentally clean. We believe in promoting smart recycling habits in order to achieve long-lasting results.

We have more than 3 million B2B2C users, recycled on average of 1000 tons per month, and save 5,000 tons of CO2 per month.

RecyGlo is scaling up to be a regional player by the year of 2022, impacting the lives of 100m people. In the beginning of 2021, Okka Phyo Maung – RecyGlo CFO and CMO, stated “We are now targeting Indonesia and Cambodia, while growing in Malaysia and Singapore markets and have aggressive expansion plans. Our product is ready, and we can initially leverage the existing client base of multinationals, NGOs and regional companies, and slowly move into the MSME and consumer markets.”​

RecyGlo has also launched a new B2B2C marketplace app, Oh My Trash which attracted at least 400,000 users in Myanmar in 2020. The app enables users to sell unwanted items directly to individual buyers, local junk shops and recycling operators. RecyGlo now handles almost all types of waste materials including e-waste. RecyGlo has also achieved prestigious achievements. In 2019, RecyGlo won CCI France’s Young Entrepreneurs Awards in the Positive Impact Category and since 2020, RecyGlo has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. Moreover, RecyGlo was featured in the most influential project in 2020 under the Uplink category by the Project Management Institute.
